Two dogs, four cats—and a lot of lessons from everyday life.

SEVY started with the animals already living in our founder’s home: two dogs and four cats. They do not have the same habits, energy levels or needs—and that is exactly what made living with them so instructive.

Duo has a very different concern: food. If there is food in the bowl, Duo will happily keep eating. Leaving a full bowl out all day simply does not work for him. His habit made us think more carefully about scheduled meals, manageable portions and feeding products that remain practical when a pet does not know when to stop.

Our Border Collie is happiest outdoors. He is energetic, curious and always ready to explore a little farther. The simple one-length leash we used before gave us no quick way to change his range—more freedom on an open path, but closer control near traffic, people or other dogs. Those walks made us think differently about leash design. They also showed us how quickly muddy paws and a wet coat can turn an afternoon outside into a long cleanup at home.
